Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical reviews of adverse event reports for investigational and marketed products.
  • Ensure compliance with MedDRA, WHO-DRL, and ARGUS safety databases.
  • Collaborate with Safety and Pharmacovigilance (SPVG) teams to ensure accurate case assessments.
  • Adhere to regulatory guidelines and SOPs for safety evaluation and reporting.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate potential safety concerns.
  • Provide medical expertise for aggregate safety reports (PSURs, PADERs, annual safety reports).
  • Stay updated on clinical advancements and pharmacovigilance regulations.
  • Mentor and train internal safety staff.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Medical Degree (M.D., MBBS, D.O.) with accredited residency.
  • 1–2 years of clinical practice experience.
  • Preferably 1+ year in pharmacovigilance/epidemiology within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, safety databases, and collaboration tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 10%).
