Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and research-driven Senior Expert – Science and Technology to lead analytical development activities for innovative oligonucleotide therapeutics within a pharmaceutical R&D environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, interpreting, and reporting scientific experiments related to drug substances (DS), drug products (DP), analytical methods, and formulation development.

This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in analytical chemistry, chromatography techniques, oligonucleotide analytics, and pharmaceutical development processes who can contribute strategically to scientific innovation and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Analytical Development & Scientific Research

Develop and validate robust analytical methodologies for innovative oligonucleotide therapeutics.
Design, plan, conduct, interpret, and report analytical studies related to:
- Drug Substances (DS)
- Drug Products (DP)
- Analytical Method Development
- Method Validation
- Method Transfer
- Stability Testing
- Release Testing
- Formulation Development Analytics
Apply advanced analytical science and modern laboratory technologies while ensuring compliance with quality standards and project timelines.

Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry

Utilize advanced chromatography separation techniques including:
- Reverse Phase (RP)
- Ion Exchange Chromatography (IEX)
- Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatography (HILIC)
Support analytical characterization using:
- Mass Spectrometry
- Impurity Quantification
- Molecular Sequencing
- Mass Confirmation
Contribute to analytical innovation and optimization within oligonucleotide research programs.

Project Management & Laboratory Operations

Support planning and execution of laboratory experiments and project activities.
Coordinate:
- Laboratory schedules
- Experimental planning
- Data evaluation
- Technical reporting
Contribute to analytical strategy development and scientific decision-making processes.
Support preparation of analytical documentation for:
- Regulatory submissions
- CMC modules
- Manufacturing & Supply Operations
- Internal and external technology transfers

Compliance, Quality & Documentation

Ensure adherence to:
- SOPs
- GMP
- GLP
- Quality Management (QM)
- HSE Guidelines
- ISRM Standards
Prepare scientific and technical documents with high accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Maintain audit readiness and support quality assurance activities.

Leadership & Knowledge Sharing

Mentor and coach scientific team members and junior associates.
Share best practices and scientific expertise across analytical project teams.
Contribute to scientific exchange programs and collaborative innovation initiatives.
Support the development and future expansion of oligonucleotide analytical laboratories.
