Job Overview

A leading global biopharmaceutical organization is seeking a Senior Healthcare Compliance Associate to support and promote adherence to internal and external healthcare compliance requirements across international and global operations. This role plays a key part in strengthening compliance culture, supporting regional affiliates, and ensuring effective implementation of healthcare compliance programs, particularly within the JAPAC region.

The position is ideal for professionals with strong compliance awareness, cross-functional collaboration experience, and a proactive approach to risk identification and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Compliance Support and Governance

  • Support adherence to global and local healthcare compliance requirements, policies, and standards.

  • Gather and review documentation to identify compliance risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Track, support, and participate in corrective and preventive improvement actions.

  • Champion compliance best practices and act as an advocate for ethical business conduct across the organization.

Regional and Global Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary compliance point of contact for the JAPAC region.

  • Support affiliate teams in achieving healthcare compliance initiatives and objectives.

  • Work closely with managers and global compliance contacts to ensure international alignment.

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of business priorities while reinforcing compliance expectations.

Program Implementation and Training

  • Support the development, implementation, and administration of global healthcare compliance programs, including Fair Market Value (FMV) and Country Requirements Overview initiatives.

  • Assist in the creation, review, and maintenance of compliance policies, SOPs, tools, systems, job aids, and training materials.

  • Collaborate with Training and Systems teams to address regional and local compliance needs.

  • Support CDOCS and Learning Management System (LMS) subject matter experts as required.


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline.

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, quality, or a related function within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams in a global or regional environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting global or regional compliance programs.

  • Additional language proficiency beyond English.

  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks, policies, and risk management practices.

  • Hands-on experience with compliance-related systems and tools.


Key Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance principles and ethical business practices.

  • Excellent documentation, coordination, and project administration skills.

  • Ability to identify compliance risks and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Proficiency in digital collaboration and workflow tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps.

  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities.
