Job Overview

Sanofi is hiring a Senior Scientific Writer – Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) to support global medical and value communication strategies. This role sits at the intersection of health economics, real-world evidence (RWE), medical writing, and market access, making it highly impactful in shaping how innovative therapies reach patients.

As part of the Sanofi Global Hub (SGH), you will develop high-quality HEVA content including manuscripts, abstracts, dossiers, and value communication materials, supporting decision-making for reimbursement, access, and healthcare policy.

Key Responsibilities

HEVA Scientific & Value Communication

  • Develop HEVA deliverables: manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and slide decks

  • Align content with HEVA strategy, global communication plans, and product value messaging

  • Support development of Core Value Dossiers and AMCP dossiers

Publication & Content Development

  • Create and manage complex scientific publications across therapeutic areas

  • Conduct publication needs analysis and execute annual publication plans

  • Ensure compliance with Good Publication Practice (GPP) and SOPs

Evidence Synthesis & Value Communication

  • Develop and maintain Core Value Decks with updated HEVA evidence

  • Translate clinical and economic data into impactful value narratives

  • Support market access and reimbursement strategies

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with global and local teams: HEVA, RWE, Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications

  • Interact with healthcare professionals for publication development

  • Manage vendor relationships for deliverable execution

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Review and guide junior writers’ work

  • Provide coaching and knowledge sharing within the team

  • Build expertise across therapeutic areas

Process & Project Management

  • Manage end-to-end publication workflow using tools like iEnvision (Datavision/Matrix)

  • Ensure timely delivery with high quality standards

  • Continuously improve communication strategies based on feedback


Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Public Health / Epidemiology

  • OR Medical degree (MBBS / MD or equivalent)

Experience

  • 4+ years in medical writing, HEOR, HEVA, or scientific communication

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)

  • Familiarity with Real-World Evidence (RWE)

  • Expertise in Good Publication Practice (GPP) and publication submissions

  • Understanding of AMCP dossiers, Core Value Dossiers, and market access strategies

  • Experience with publication management tools (iEnvision/Datavision/Matrix)

  • Awareness of ICH-GCP, regulatory writing, and compliance frameworks

Soft Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
