Specialist Pharmacovigilance – Noida, India

Job Summary

Cencora is hiring a Specialist Pharmacovigilance for its Noida, India office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for literature screening, case processing, CIOMS/MedWatch reporting, and ICSR management. This position is ideal for professionals experienced in drug safety, medical literature monitoring (MLM), and pharmacovigilance database systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Screen scientific literature using internal search mechanisms and external tools.

  • Classify safety-relevant references and maintain literature ordering records.

  • Enter literature reports into the pharmacovigilance safety database.

  • Prepare standard reporting forms such as CIOMS I, MedWatch, and XML files.

  • Perform case completion, review, and documentation of safety cases.

  • Download, review, and share client-specific ICSRs from the EMA MLM service.

  • Conduct duplicate searches of literature cases against updated MLM information.

  • Act as the primary contact for client and project management.

  • Support additional tasks within pharmacovigilance services as required.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience with pharmacovigilance literature screening and case processing.

  • Knowledge of CIOMS I forms, MedWatch forms, ICSR handling, and EMA MLM services.

  • Familiarity with pharmacovigilance software/databases.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a client-facing and cross-functional environment.
