Role Overview
The Senior Associate – Contracts & Pricing will support Global Contracts and Pricing Operations (Global CPO), managing pricing and contracting activities for JAPAC markets while supporting ex-US regions. This role ensures operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, financial control integrity, and system optimization across pricing and contract workflows.
The position plays a critical role in safeguarding data integrity, executing SOX and IICC controls, improving automation frameworks, and enhancing reporting capabilities through digital tools and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Execution
Manage accurate and timely execution of pricing, contracts, accruals, and payments for JAPAC markets.
Support end-to-end contract lifecycle management within defined SLAs and compliance standards.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure adherence to SOX and IICC control frameworks.
Perform data integrity checks and document control evidence.
Support system validation, regression, unit, and integration testing following system updates.
Maintain audit-ready documentation and process governance standards.
Systems & Technical Support
Support SAP Vistex pricing condition execution (e.g., VK11) and VAT compliance.
Manage system access controls in Vistex and Tableau.
Develop automation bots to improve monitoring, reporting, and access workflows.
Conduct process mining analysis using Celonis and prepare management reports.
Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor pricing data flows and investigate discrepancies.
Develop dashboards and self-service reporting tools in Tableau.
Run automated audit checks and escalate issues for resolution.
Track and manage outstanding documentation and pricing revisions.
Process Improvement & Automation
Implement automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Deliver simplified reporting frameworks and standardized documentation.
Support cross-regional administrative coordination and reporting needs.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years of experience in:
Contracts and Pricing Operations
Commercial Operations
Compliance and Internal Controls
Functional IT Support
Business Administration
OR
Associate’s degree with minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or regulated industries is strongly preferred.
Technical & Functional Skills
Experience with SAP, Vistex, and pricing condition management
Knowledge of SOX compliance and financial control frameworks
Hands-on experience with Tableau dashboards and reporting tools
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration platforms
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and tools such as Jira
Exposure to automation tools and bot development preferred
