Sr Clinical Programmer (Spotfire/Cluepoints) – Remote | Syneos Health
Job Summary
Syneos Health is seeking a highly skilled Sr Clinical Programmer with strong expertise in Spotfire, Cluepoints, and SAS to join our global Clinical Development team. This is a remote opportunity, ideal for experienced professionals with a background in clinical data programming, visualization, and EDC systems like Rave or Veeva. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and efficiency of clinical programming deliverables while supporting global clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain programming deliverables using Spotfire, Cluepoints, SAS, and related tools
Generate documentation including CRFs, edit checks, data imports/exports, listings, and reports
Serve as lead programmer on up to 10 concurrent studies
Provide second-tier technical support and application administration for EDC systems
Review project scope, monitor timelines, and support budget change orders
Perform system integrations, application updates, and UAT
Mentor team members and provide technical leadership
Participate in audits and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards
Collaborate with sponsors, project managers, and cross-functional teams globally
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years in clinical programming, with a focus on Spotfire, Cluepoints, and SAS
Proficiency in data visualization tools (Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with iMedidata Rave or Veeva EDC is preferred
Programming knowledge in Python, SQL, PL/SQL, or VB is a plus
Clinical trial data management experience is required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
Comfortable working in a matrix and global environment
Willingness to travel up to 25% if needed
