Job Summary
Innova Solutions is hiring a Senior Manager, Drug Safety & Public Health (Epidemiology) on a 12-month full-time contract at their client’s location in Foster City, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead observational studies, epidemiological analyses, and real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives supporting oncology drug safety and public health. Ideal for an experienced epidemiologist with 7–10+ years of industry experience, this position is key to designing and executing large-scale epidemiological research within a leading pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform feasibility analyses for epidemiological studies.
Conduct thorough literature reviews to inform study design.
Plan observational studies and draft protocol synopses or concept sheets.
Define study criteria, data sources, methods, and statistical analysis plans.
Draft and review study protocols, SAPs, and observational study reports.
Execute both primary and secondary data analysis for epidemiological studies.
Review and ensure quality of all data outputs and deliverables.
Collaborate closely with scientific, operational teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Monitor study milestones, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Participate in planning meetings and adjust priorities for efficient task completion.
Contribute to process improvements in epidemiological programming and methodology.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Epidemiology or related field.
7–10+ years of industry experience as an epidemiologist in pharmaceuticals.
Strong background in oncology RWD/RWE study design and analysis preferred.
Expertise in designing and conducting observational studies.
Proficiency in statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and epidemiological methods.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
