Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure documents meet or exceed FDA, EU, and other global regulatory and sponsor standards

  • Represent the editorial team in internal and cross-functional project teams

  • Monitor timelines and budgets, flagging risks to relevant stakeholders

  • Provide expert support and mentorship to medical editing staff

  • Lead large or complex medical writing projects, including team meetings and editorial planning

  • Collaborate with medical writers and study teams throughout the editorial process

  • Copyedit documents using AMA or customized style guidelines and internal best practices

  • Conduct data integrity checks to ensure accuracy of documents

  • Support the development and revision of SOPs, tools, and editorial processes

  • Manage assigned projects efficiently, ensuring timely and quality deliverables

  • Compile and publish medical writing documents as needed

  • Edit SOPs and business documents for the Asset Writing team

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, clinical sciences, English, or journalism preferred

  • Strong copyediting and data integrity review experience

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe Acrobat experience preferred

  • Knowledge of AMA Style Guide strongly preferred

  • Experience with ISIToolbox and/or markup languages is a plus

  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and project management skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple deadline-driven projects

  • Familiarity with FDA/EU regulations, ICH guidelines, and ISO standards preferred
