Key Responsibilities:
Ensure documents meet or exceed FDA, EU, and other global regulatory and sponsor standards
Represent the editorial team in internal and cross-functional project teams
Monitor timelines and budgets, flagging risks to relevant stakeholders
Provide expert support and mentorship to medical editing staff
Lead large or complex medical writing projects, including team meetings and editorial planning
Collaborate with medical writers and study teams throughout the editorial process
Copyedit documents using AMA or customized style guidelines and internal best practices
Conduct data integrity checks to ensure accuracy of documents
Support the development and revision of SOPs, tools, and editorial processes
Manage assigned projects efficiently, ensuring timely and quality deliverables
Compile and publish medical writing documents as needed
Edit SOPs and business documents for the Asset Writing team
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, clinical sciences, English, or journalism preferred
Strong copyediting and data integrity review experience
Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe Acrobat experience preferred
Knowledge of AMA Style Guide strongly preferred
Experience with ISIToolbox and/or markup languages is a plus
Strong communication, attention to detail, and project management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple deadline-driven projects
Familiarity with FDA/EU regulations, ICH guidelines, and ISO standards preferred
