Study Participant Recruiter – Early Phase Clinical Research (San Antonio, TX)
Job Summary:
ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is hiring a Study Participant Recruiter for its early-phase clinical research operations in San Antonio, TX. In this full-time, on-site role, you will lead participant recruitment efforts and help ensure successful clinical trial execution. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans using databases, community outreach, and social media platforms
Screen potential participants for study eligibility based on protocol-specific criteria and medical history
Educate prospective participants about the clinical trial process and address questions or concerns
Collaborate with study teams to ensure timely recruitment and meet enrollment goals
Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and communicate updates to internal teams
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical research or the healthcare industry preferred
Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and FDA regulations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse population
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently under deadlines
Scientific or medical knowledge is a plus
