How You Will Make an Impact:

In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to create high-quality user documentation, animations, and videos that enhance the customer experience. By working closely with colleagues, you will discuss, plan, and implement documentation-focused projects that support a range of organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and maintain user documentation to facilitate the use of our products and services.
Research and write hardware and software documentation for analytical instruments, including liquid, gas, and ion chromatographs, as well as mass spectrometers.
Create new animations and update existing ones to clarify workflows, installation, and maintenance procedures.
Collaborate with scientists, engineers, product evaluation teams, project managers, and product managers to capture information accurately.
Participate in initiatives aimed at improving the documentation process.
Engage in peer reviews of user documentation.
Develop documentation plans and write reusable, topic-based content.

Qualifications:

Degree in technical communication, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field focused on technical documentation, or equivalent relevant experience.
A minimum of 7+ years as a technical writer.
Experience in creating topic-based content for software and hardware installation, maintenance instructions, troubleshooting, and training materials, including standard operating procedures and manuals.
Familiarity with Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA)-based CCMS and authoring tools.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English writing.
Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with screen-capture software and video production tools such as Captivate, Storyline, Camtasia, or Final Cut Pro.
Familiarity with mass spectrometry and chromatography instruments.

Additional Information:
