Associate – Technical Documentation (Engineering)

Locations: Gurugram / Pune (Gurugram preferred)

Job Overview

This role involves supporting the creation, maintenance, and management of engineering and quality documentation within a regulated medical device environment. The Associate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance of technical documents aligned with the Boston Scientific Quality System and applicable industry standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Co-author and contribute to engineering deliverables, including but not limited to:

    • Design Verification Protocols and Reports

    • Standards Compliance Checklists

    • Departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Ensure adherence to Boston Scientific Quality System standards and applicable technical writing and industry standards

  • Interpret and apply technical writing standards to align with organizational requirements

  • Establish and maintain document-level linkages, including internal references and product-related documentation relationships

  • Clearly write, summarize, and present technical information and conclusions

  • Organize, structure, and convert raw data into usable tables and documentation formats

  • Plan and draft document frameworks for engineering teams

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product development teams and test lab personnel to gather source information

  • Review documents and recommend improvements for clarity, accuracy, and conciseness

  • Initiate and route change notices in Windchill for Design History File (DHF) documentation and site-level procedures

  • Manage project documentation and maintain records throughout the development lifecycle

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive documentation excellence within the team

  • Ensure consistent document quality through accurate organization, review, and maintenance of technical content

The Associate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, compliant, and well-structured engineering documentation. This position requires strong attention to detail, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to translate technical inputs into clear, standardized documentation outputs within a regulated environment.
