The Trust & Safety New Associate role focuses on content moderation and user-generated content review, ensuring a safe and compliant digital environment across online platforms.

This position plays a critical role in analyzing, reviewing, and moderating online content, helping organizations maintain platform integrity and user safety. It is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in digital operations, content moderation, risk management, and online safety compliance.


Key Responsibilities

Content Moderation & Review

  • Review and moderate user-generated content (text, images, videos, audio)

  • Classify, flag, or remove content based on client policies and guidelines

  • Ensure platform safety by identifying inappropriate or harmful content

Issue Resolution & Escalation

  • Investigate and resolve content-related issues and user reports

  • Escalate complex cases to the Trust & Safety team

  • Act as a user advocate for maintaining safe digital communities

Policy Compliance & Updates

  • Stay updated with content policies, guidelines, and platform rules

  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards and moderation frameworks

  • Apply policies objectively without bias

Process Improvement & Training

  • Participate in continuous training programs and team discussions

  • Contribute to process improvements for quality and efficiency

  • Support operational excellence in content moderation workflows


Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate in any discipline

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in:

    • Content moderation

    • Customer support / BPO

    • Digital operations (preferred but not mandatory)

Technical & Industry Skills

  • Understanding of:

    • Content moderation processes and online safety standards

    • User-generated content platforms and digital ecosystems

  • Familiarity with:

    • Moderation tools and workflow systems (basic level)

Core Competencies

  • Strong emotional resilience and stress management

  • Excellent English communication and comprehension skills
