Job Overview

ClinChoice, a global full-service CRO, is seeking a Senior Analytical Data Science Programmer Consultant to join a client-focused clinical development team. This role bridges statistical programming and data science, delivering high-quality, traceable programming outputs for clinical trials, including static and dynamic tables, listings, figures, and interactive dashboards.

The ideal candidate is confident, independent, and collaborative, capable of working directly with project leads and client teams while ensuring compliance with CDISC standards, SDTM/ADaM datasets, and regulatory expectations.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Programming & Data Management

  • Translate Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) into validated, high-quality programming outputs.

  • Develop and maintain SDTM and ADaM datasets to support clinical trial analyses.

  • Generate and validate tables, listings, figures (TLFs), and interactive dashboards, ensuring accuracy and traceability.

  • Support programming for exploratory biomarker data and real-world datasets.

  • Collaborate on Exploratory Data Analyses (EDAs) to generate insights for drug development strategy.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure programming outputs adhere to client standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Apply knowledge of statistical quality, endpoints, and QC processes in deliverables.

  • Maintain documentation for reproducibility, transparency, and audit readiness.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a subject-matter expert, translating complex statistical concepts for non-statistical stakeholders.

  • Work closely with Project Leads, client teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to meet study objectives.

  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices in clinical programming and data analysis.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in clinical trial statistical programming, or 1–3 years with an advanced degree.

  • Proficiency in SAS and R for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.

  • Working knowledge of CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM).

  • Understanding of statistical concepts, clinical endpoints, and QC processes.

  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with strong organizational abilities.

  • Experience in drug development, early- and/or late-stage clinical trials.

  • Ability to convey complex data analyses to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Based in North America or similar time zones for collaboration with US clients.
