Job Summary

Cencora is hiring an Assistant Manager/Manager – Pharmacovigilance, Epidemiology & Risk Management in Noida, India. This role involves leading operational tasks, technical delivery, and project management, with a focus on literature screening and safety data analysis. Candidates with 6–9 years of pharmacovigilance experience and expertise in global PV regulations are preferred.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage quality, workload, compliance, and documentation for assigned PV projects.

  • Coordinate projects and allocate resources effectively.

  • Train and mentor PV department staff.

  • Ensure timely generation and sharing of monthly invoices for PV clients.

  • Oversee recruitment and annual appraisals of PV staff.

  • Ensure training compliance for the PV team.

  • Represent the PV department during audits or regulatory inspections.

  • Prepare/review QA documents like SDEAs, SOPs, templates, and project metafiles.

  • Conduct training sessions for PV documentation and processes.

  • Identify safety-relevant publications and provide scientific input during literature surveillance.

  • Screen scientific literature using internal tools or external providers.

  • Perform medical assessment of literature reports in the safety database.

  • Act as the main point of contact for client/project management.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or related fields (advanced degree preferred).

  • 6–9 years of experience in pharmacovigilance with multi-country PV activities.

  • In-depth knowledge of PV regulations, ICH guidelines, and industry best practices.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and quality management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in multicultural and fast-paced environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
