Job Opportunity: Associate Analyst – Medtech Data Team
Location: Bengaluru, India
Work Mode: Hybrid (Monday – Friday)
Work Hours: 12 PM – 9 PM IST (to overlap with Toronto team)
About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Analyst to join our Medtech Data team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on data analysis, market research (primary and secondary), competitive analysis, forecasting, and contribute to custom consulting projects for medical devices and healthcare markets.
Our team leverages real-world healthcare data and generates meaningful insights to help medical device companies make strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Build, manage, and analyze multiple datasets for market modeling and analysis.
Maintain and update Medtech product catalogs.
Conduct research on novel device markets, including competitors, product segmentation, and market uses.
Analyze data outputs, identify trends, draw insights, and correct errors/issues.
Partner with stakeholders and clients to understand business needs and deliver data-driven insights.
Identify opportunities for data analysis and experimentation with a focus on customer success.
Contribute ideas to influence the evolution of products, data models, and strategy.
About You (Skills, Education, and Experience)
Required
Passion for data, with hands-on experience in SQL/Python for data handling.
B.E. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, Pharmacy, or related fields.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong presentation and written communication skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Effective communicator, able to explain complex ideas clearly.
Collaborative, with experience working across diverse teams (SMEs, product managers, sales, technical experts, analysts).
Solution-oriented mindset with focus on timely execution.
Preferred
Understanding of Medtech data and the healthcare domain.
Exposure to claims/pharmacy data.
Experience with data vendors.
Expertise in R/Python for advanced data analysis.
