Role Overview

The Associate Clinical Specialist is a field-based clinical support professional responsible for providing clinical education, technical support, and product expertise to healthcare professionals using Medtronic's Enabling Technologies solutions.

This role bridges the gap between:

  • Clinical Practice

  • Medical Technology

  • Product Training

  • Customer Support

  • Sales Enablement

You will work directly with surgeons, hospital staff, and Medtronic sales teams to ensure safe and effective utilization of advanced medical technologies.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

  • Provide on-site clinical support during procedures.

  • Assist healthcare professionals in using Medtronic technologies.

  • Support customer adoption of new products and solutions.

  • Ensure optimal clinical outcomes for patients and healthcare providers.

Clinical Education & Training

  • Conduct training sessions for:

    • Surgeons

    • Nurses

    • Operating Room staff

    • Hospital personnel

  • Educate customers on product features, functionality, and best practices.

  • Deliver product demonstrations and hands-on training.

Technical Product Expertise

  • Serve as a technical resource for assigned product lines.

  • Troubleshoot product-related questions in clinical settings.

  • Support technology integration and utilization.

Sales Partnership

Work closely with:

  • Regional Sales Teams

  • Clinical Leads

  • Clinical Managers

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting product evaluations

  • Assisting customer demonstrations

  • Identifying growth opportunities

  • Supporting sales strategies through clinical expertise

Customer Engagement

  • Participate in:

    • Medical conferences

    • Workshops

    • Scientific meetings

    • Product awareness events

  • Build relationships with healthcare professionals.

  • Gather customer feedback and communicate insights internally.


Required Qualifications

Education

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Baccalaureate Degree)

Common relevant backgrounds include:

  • B.Pharm

  • Pharm.D

  • B.Sc Life Sciences

  • Biotechnology

  • Biomedical Engineering

  • Nursing

  • Allied Health Sciences

  • Medical Technology

Alternative APAC Qualification

  • High School Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience


Experience Requirements

Preferred

  • Freshers can apply.

  • 0–2 years of healthcare, clinical support, or medical device experience.
