JOB OVERVIEW
The Associate Data Scientist will support clinical research and algorithm development by collecting, managing, analyzing, and interpreting clinical datasets. The role involves applying statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and data visualization methods to generate evidence that supports clinical studies, FDA submissions, and scientific research. The position requires collaboration with Clinical Data Scientists and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, regulatory-compliant data analysis and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Data Management
Collect, clean, and validate clinical datasets.
Manage clinical research data for analysis.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity.
Maintain structured clinical databases.
Support FDA submission datasets.
Data Analysis
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA).
Conduct statistical analysis on clinical datasets.
Analyze large-scale healthcare data.
Interpret analytical findings.
Generate actionable insights.
Machine Learning
Develop predictive models.
Build and optimize machine learning algorithms.
Implement classification models.
Improve algorithm performance.
Evaluate model accuracy and performance.
Statistical Modeling
Apply regression analysis.
Perform cluster analysis.
Utilize Bayesian statistical methods.
Conduct hypothesis testing.
Analyze statistical distributions.
Data Processing
Manipulate and transform large datasets.
Perform data cleansing and preprocessing.
