Job Summary:
Join Clarivate’s Medtech Insights team as an Associate Healthcare Research and Data Analyst in Bengaluru. In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for conducting in-depth market research, forecasting, competitive analysis, and writing comprehensive reports related to medical devices and healthcare markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for freshers or early-career professionals to work in a global team with exposure to consulting projects and syndicated research reports.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews with healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders

  • Manage and analyze physician surveys (online and in-person)

  • Perform secondary research using financial, regulatory, and internal data repositories

  • Analyze clinical trial and approval data from various documents

  • Build and forecast market models based on disparate data points

  • Interpret qualitative research into quantitative insights

  • Identify data trends and outliers using time-series analysis

  • Develop Excel-based models and manipulate large datasets

  • Prepare detailed and data-backed research reports

  • Write in-depth competitive analysis using primary and secondary data

  • Analyze global market potential for healthcare products

  • Deliver insights that support strategic business decisions


Candidate Requirements:

Must-Have:

  • Fresher or up to 1 year of relevant experience in secondary research, forecasting, or analytics

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare

  • Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, data sorting, basic formulas)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Able to meet tight deadlines with high-quality deliverables

  • Demonstrated business acumen and stakeholder management skills

  • Self-driven and capable of working independently or collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to medical device domain or therapy area expertise

  • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, data management strategies)

  • Familiarity with SQL or Python


About the Team:
The Medtech Insights team operates across Toronto, Bengaluru, and Barcelona, focusing on delivering Medtech 360 syndicated reports and custom consulting. They leverage real-world data, primary interviews, and domain knowledge to support high-impact decisions in the medical device industry.


Work Schedule:

  • Hybrid role

  • Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST for effective collaboration across time zones


Estimated Salary: ₹4.5–6.5 LPA (based on entry-level analytics roles in healthcare market research in India)
