Role Overview
The Associate – Scientific Writing will support the development, review, and management of medical and promotional content across various therapeutic areas. This role ensures all scientific content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with regulatory guidelines while meeting client expectations. The candidate will work under guidance from managers, following established SOPs and project processes, contributing to high-quality, timely deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Review and ensure medical accuracy, scientific rigor, and regulatory compliance of promotional and medical communication materials for various client products.
Develop and update content for medical materials, performing literature searches and referencing current scientific publications.
Track, audit, and manage assets, ensuring adherence to quality requirements and client satisfaction metrics.
Maintain departmental best practices in communication, project management, documentation, language, grammar, stylization, content summarization, data conflict resolution, and referencing.
Participate in client calls, training programs, and assigned project assignments as needed.
Ensure confidentiality, quality compliance, and adherence to company processes and policies.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education: MD / MDS / PhD / MBBS with relevant experience.
Experience: 1–2 years in medical review or pharmaceutical scientific writing within pharmaceutical companies, medical communications agencies, or clinical research organizations.
Understanding of specialty medical areas (preferred) or broad medical knowledge.
Strong flair for writing with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to stay updated with the latest scientific and technical developments and integrate them into projects.
Client-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term professional relationships.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments.
Preferred Skills
