Essential Functions:
Small-scale purification of upstream Cell-Free Protein Synthesis bioreactors.
Implement purification strategies for medium-high throughput processing of carrier protein used in the PCV-24 program.
Collaborate with the Upstream team for sample process timing and with Protein Analytical Development for sample handoff.
Organize, label, and track storage for multiple in-process samples.
Carefully document laboratory execution in electronic lab notebook entries.
Execute documented purification and analytical procedures.
Compile and present experimental data.
Contribute to technical reports summarizing experimental data.
Participate in cross-functional project teams and provide regular progress updates.
Requirements:
BS in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related discipline with 4+ years of industry experience.
Strong protein purification knowledge and experience, including familiarity with AKTA lab-scale and preparative chromatography systems and UNICORN software.
Experience with good documentation practices and electronic lab notebooks.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Info:
Pay Scale: $95,000 - $110,000 annually.
