  • Quantify peptides, separate impurities, and perform accurate protein quantification.

  • Execute database search-based protein identification from mass spectrometry data.

  • Apply analytical techniques such as ion exchange and hydrophobic interaction chromatography for protein characterization (beneficial).

  • Maintain detailed laboratory documentation and generate reproducible data in Lab Notebooks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in proteomics and biopharmaceutical development projects.

  • Optionally, support multiplexed mass spectrometry workflows and analyze protein-protein or protein-ligand interactions using biophysical techniques.

  • Apply basic bioinformatics tools and proteomics workflows where required.

Experience Required

  • 2–5 years of experience in protein characterization, mass spectrometry, or related analytical roles in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.

Educational Qualification

  • M.Sc, M.Tech, or M.Pharm in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or Life Sciences.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in mass spectrometry for protein analysis.

  • Knowledge of peptide quantification, impurity analysis, and database search-based protein identification.

  • Experience with analytical chromatography techniques (ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction) is a plus.

  • Basic bioinformatics knowledge and familiarity with proteomics workflows.

Behavioral & Functional Skills

  • Proactive team player with ability to work independently.

  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for collaboration in multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to generating accurate and reproducible experimental data.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Industrial experience in biotechnology or biopharmaceutical research.

  • Hands-on experience with multiplexed mass spectrometry and protein interaction studies.

This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in advanced protein characterization techniques and contribute to innovative biopharmaceutical research programs.
