Job Overview

IQVIA is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Technical Writer to join its growing team in Chennai. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong command of written English and experience in creating clear, user-focused technical documentation. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to develop high-quality documentation that supports end users across healthcare and life sciences domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive end-user documentation, including User Manuals, How-To Guides, Quick Reference Guides, and Online Help content

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in documentation, with a strong focus on English language quality and formatting standards

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across multiple teams for knowledge gathering, content validation, and document reviews

  • Provide cross-functional documentation support as required by business needs

  • Maintain documentation standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency across deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or content development

  • Strong proficiency in written English, including grammar, structure, and clarity

  • Ability to translate complex technical or scientific information into user-friendly documentation

  • Experience working with SMEs and cross-functional teams

  • Familiarity with documentation tools and content management systems is an advantage
