Associate Trainer

Location: Bangalore, India
Department: Global Project Management
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Rotational Shift

  • 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM IST

  • 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST


Job Summary

The Associate Trainer supports onboarding, training delivery, performance improvement initiatives, and operational excellence within the Global Project Management team. The role is responsible for preparing training plans, conducting training sessions, maintaining training documentation, tracking trainee progress, and supporting continuous learning initiatives across the department.


Key Responsibilities

Training & Onboarding

  • Conduct new joiner training as per departmental training plans.

  • Provide regular updates on trainee progress to management.

  • Prepare, maintain, and update training plans related to Study Maintenance and Study Start-Up activities.

  • Complete onboarding checklists for new employees.

  • Conduct refresher and remediation training sessions based on performance trends and management feedback.

  • Deliver training on departmental tasks, processes, systems, and tools.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Follow departmental SOPs, work instructions, and compliance requirements.

  • Complete all mandatory trainings within assigned timelines.

  • Ensure project-related documentation is completed accurately and on time.

  • Review and update department-controlled documents when required.

  • Maintain training records and documentation.

Quality & Process Improvement

  • Investigate reported quality events and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

  • Develop and document Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and training effectiveness programs.

  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of operational issues.

Operational Support

  • Manage assigned day-to-day activities while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

  • Provide administrative and technical support to internal teams.

  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth delivery of documentation and training requirements.

  • Act as a departmental liaison for cross-functional communication.

Reporting & Metrics

  • Maintain and report operational and training metrics as requested by management.

  • Track team performance trends and identify training needs.

  • Support management with data-driven training recommendations.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Science


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a relevant clinical research, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry role.
