Job Description

ICON plc is seeking a Clinical Data Coordinator II to support clinical data management activities within global clinical trials. In this role, you will assist with clinical data collection, validation, and analysis to ensure high-quality and compliant datasets used for evaluating new medical treatments and therapies.

You will collaborate with clinical data scientists and cross-functional teams to manage clinical datasets, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate study documentation while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Data Management Study Lead in maintaining eCRF systems, Data Validation Specifications, and Study-Specific Procedures.

  • Manage clinical and third-party data reconciliation according to edit specifications and data review plans.

  • Track and communicate study status and task metrics to project teams and management.

  • Address data-related questions and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Identify root causes of data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

  • Support the maintenance of high-quality, regulatory-compliant clinical datasets.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical data management.

  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.

  • Familiarity with clinical data management systems such as Medidata, Oracle RDC, or similar platforms.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of clinical data management processes.

  • Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory standards.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Good problem-solving and organizational abilities.
