Job Overview
The Clinical Data Services Associate will support clinical data management and clinical database development activities within the Life Sciences Research and Development division. The role involves building clinical study databases, developing electronic case report forms (eCRFs), performing validation checks, and ensuring regulatory compliance for clinical trials.
The candidate will contribute to clinical data operations by supporting database design, data integration, and data quality processes, enabling biopharmaceutical organizations to enhance clinical trial efficiency and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain clinical study databases using Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
Build electronic case report forms (eCRFs) and program edit and validation checks as per study specifications.
Support clinical database updates, including protocol amendments and change control processes.
Assist in data integration from external sources such as laboratories and Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, data quality requirements, and clinical trial guidelines.
Perform clinical database programming using Java, JavaScript, SQL, and PL/SQL technologies.
Support clinical data review and validation activities.
Solve routine operational issues by following established guidelines and procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams and supervisors to complete assigned clinical data tasks.
Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical database processes and tools.
Work in rotational shifts based on project requirements.
Required Skills and Competencies
Clinical data management and clinical database programming knowledge.
Hands-on experience or knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL, and PL/SQL.
Understanding of clinical trial data processes and EDC systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech), preferably in Computer Science or related field.
