Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Physician (CRP) specializing in Metabolics to join our medical affairs and brand teams. The CRP will provide scientific and clinical expertise to support strategic planning, clinical development, and commercialization of Orforglipron. This role collaborates with global and regional teams, including Clinical Operations, Translational Medicine, and Pricing, Reimbursement & Access (PRA), ensuring alignment with business and medical strategies.

The CRP will serve as a medical and scientific resource, supporting clinical trial execution, protocol review, data dissemination, regulatory submissions, and external engagement with healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and payers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic area expertise and contribute to medical strategies for Metabolics and Orforglipron.

  • Support development and execution of global and regional clinical trial plans, including site selection, trial initiation, and issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Clinical Operations, PRA, Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Medical Information, Global Product Safety) to drive brand commercialization strategies.

  • Engage with external stakeholders, including HCPs, advocacy groups, and government agencies, to share scientific data and product insights.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and company policies.

  • Contribute to medical education, publication planning, and preparation of clinical materials for internal and external use.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to Medical Affairs Professionals (MAPs) and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).

  • Support data analysis, scientific publications, and response to external inquiries on medical and clinical information.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Medical qualification (MBBS/MD) with full Medical Council registration or eligibility.

  • Minimum 5–8 years of clinical experience in pharmaceutical, clinical research, or therapeutic area-specific roles (Metabolics experience highly desirable).

  • Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, regulatory requirements, and pharmacovigilance.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance scientific rigor with commercial objectives.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in collaborating with global and regional teams.

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
