As a Clinical Research Scientist (CRS) in Medical Affairs, you will leverage your scientific and clinical expertise to support commercialization activities, ensure the highest standards of compliance, and enhance customer experience for healthcare providers, patients, and payers. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the medical and clinical landscape for our marketed and pipeline products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Understand and address scientific information needs, support brand commercialization strategies, and provide training for medical and sales teams.
  • Scientific Data Dissemination: Lead data analyses, prepare publications, and represent Lilly at symposia and advisory boards.
  • Clinical Research: Collaborate with global and regional teams to plan and execute Phase 3b/4 studies and non-clinical activities.
  • Expertise Development: Stay informed on industry trends and scientific advancements while contributing to team growth.
  • General Responsibilities: Act as a leadership ambassador, manage medical budgets, and support cross-functional collaborations.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (DVM, PharmD, PhD, or MSN with a clinical specialty) plus 3–5 years of clinical or pharmaceutical experience OR
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in health-related fields with 7–10 years of pharmaceutical experience (clinical trial experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance scientific and business priorities, influence stakeholders, and work cross-functionally.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
