Role Summary

The Clinical Training Development Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical training programs and educational materials. The role focuses on improving learning experiences, ensuring compliance, supporting inspection readiness, and collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.


Key Responsibilities

Training Program Management

  • Lead courseware development including:

    • Course design

    • Publishing

    • Testing

    • Deployment

  • Manage deliverables according to approved timelines and plans.

  • Coordinate across multifunctional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with:

    • Business units

    • Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

  • Identify training needs proactively.

  • Support development and rollout of training initiatives.

Compliance & Quality Oversight

  • Monitor compliance-related training activities.

  • Support inspection readiness through standardized global training practices.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory training requirements.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Measure training effectiveness and learner satisfaction.

  • Use feedback and metrics to improve programs continuously.

  • Develop performance reports and training analytics.

Budget & Operational Management

  • Develop and manage training project budgets.

  • Ensure project commitments and operational goals are achieved.


Required Qualifications & Experience

Education & Industry Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Adult learning principles

    • Instructional design

    • Experience design

  • Knowledge of:

    • Clinical Research & Development

    • Pharmacovigilance

    • Regulatory affairs in pharmaceuticals
