Data Analyst – Medical Information & Operations Analytics

Job Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support Medical Information and operational analytics within a global life sciences environment. This role focuses on data reporting, performance insights, and database management to optimize operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and support client reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in reporting tools, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
Enhance operational teams’ understanding and utilization of internal databases and reporting systems
Analyze operational metrics such as average handle time and recommend improvements for process efficiency
Design, develop, and maintain standardized client reporting templates
Collaborate with global Client Services teams to understand and fulfill reporting requirements
Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports from Medical Information databases independently
Prepare monthly activity summaries and performance dashboards for client presentations
Develop and maintain inquiry volume reports to support workforce planning, training, and KPI tracking
Support troubleshooting of telephony systems and Medical Information databases in coordination with technical teams
Assist in reconciliation of adverse events and product complaints data with reporting systems
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of weekly and monthly reports to internal stakeholders and clients
Support invoicing-related data reporting and validation processes

Quality Assurance and Compliance
Maintain high standards of data accuracy, quality, and integrity across all deliverables
Ensure adherence to company SOPs, data privacy regulations, and confidentiality requirements
Support development and improvement of reporting processes, templates, and documentation
Assist in internal audits and quality checks as required

Training and Collaboration
Support onboarding and training of new team members on reporting tools and processes
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, client services, and IT
Act as a key point of contact for reporting and analytics-related queries

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Life Sciences, Data Science, or a related field
Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or analytics roles

Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience in data analysis, report generation, and dashboard creation
Familiarity with database systems and reporting tools used in healthcare or pharmaceutical environments
Basic understanding of telephony systems and CRM tools is an advantage
