Dutch Speaking Pharmacovigilance QC Associate – Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
Cognizant, a global leader in professional and consulting services, is seeking a Dutch Speaking Pharmacovigilance QC Associate for its Budapest, Hungary office. This hybrid role is ideal for candidates with at least 1 year of pharmacovigilance or relevant clinical experience and fluency in Dutch and English. You will be responsible for adverse event report translation, data entry, case QC, and ensuring compliance with international safety and quality standards like ICH-GCP and GVP. Key Responsibilities:
Translate adverse event (AE) reports from Dutch to English
QC translated safety data in Argus Affiliate/Core against source documents
Perform duplicate search and triage AE reports
Data entry of mandatory safety information into the safety database
Anonymize/redact source documents and AE forms
Manage follow-up queries and discrepancies from central PV teams
Generate follow-up letters for serious and non-serious cases
Maintain documentation and audit readiness
Mentor and assist junior team members as needed
Support audit and inspection processes per ICH guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related discipline
Minimum 1 year of pharmacovigilance or relevant clinical experience
Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
Familiarity with Argus safety database
Strong understanding of ICH-GCP, GVP, and MedDRA
Attention to detail with excellent QC capabilities
Ability to manage multiple cases with quality and compliance focus
