Job Summary
Norstella is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Associate with 3–4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic insights. The role focuses on leveraging commercial datasets to provide actionable intelligence that supports business strategy and client decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analyses to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
Develop and maintain competitive intelligence reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Track industry developments using multiple databases such as ClinicalTrials.gov, TrialTrove, and investor relations materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Monitor regulatory changes, market dynamics, and industry developments to support organizational awareness.
Utilize pharmaceutical commercial datasets for data extraction, analysis, and interpretation to support strategic decision-making.
Apply research findings to client projects, including competitive intelligence monitoring, commercial analysis, and forecasting.
Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
3–4 years of relevant experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or strategic analytics within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical market dynamics, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
Experience with pharmaceutical commercial datasets and industry-specific databases is a plus.
Expertise in commercial forecasting and analytics preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
