As an Endocrinologist at Optum, you will leverage the resources of a global organization to provide exceptional care, improve patient outcomes, and contribute innovative ideas that impact thousands of patients across New York and the surrounding region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practice independently while maintaining strong affiliations with local tertiary care hospitals offering a full spectrum of endocrinology services.

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage complex endocrine conditions, including performing specialized tests and procedures as required.

  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a comprehensive continuum of patient care.

  • Utilize evidence-based medicine and value-based care principles to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Maintain provider wellbeing and work-life balance with flexible scheduling options.

  • Access a full complement of clinical and administrative support, including dedicated Medical Assistants for each provider.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted New York State medical license or application in process.

  • Education: Fellowship-trained with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology.

  • Licenses: Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start.

  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative, patient-focused care environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $208,000 – $352,000 per year (total cash compensation, including base and potential bonus). Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and performance.
