As an Endocrinologist at Optum, you will leverage the resources of a global organization to provide exceptional care, improve patient outcomes, and contribute innovative ideas that impact thousands of patients across New York and the surrounding region.
Key Responsibilities
Practice independently while maintaining strong affiliations with local tertiary care hospitals offering a full spectrum of endocrinology services.
Diagnose, treat, and manage complex endocrine conditions, including performing specialized tests and procedures as required.
Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a comprehensive continuum of patient care.
Utilize evidence-based medicine and value-based care principles to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain provider wellbeing and work-life balance with flexible scheduling options.
Access a full complement of clinical and administrative support, including dedicated Medical Assistants for each provider.

Qualifications & Requirements
Licensure: Active, unrestricted New York State medical license or application in process.
Education: Fellowship-trained with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology.
Licenses: Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start.
Proven ability to work in a collaborative, patient-focused care environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $208,000 – $352,000 per year (total cash compensation, including base and potential bonus). Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and performance.
