Role Summary
The Executive – Analytical Sciences role focuses on physicochemical method development, qualification, and validation for monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and other biologics. The role involves hands-on analytical work as well as coordination within a scientific team supporting biologics characterization and release testing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analytical Method Development
Develop physicochemical analytical methods for biologics
Support qualification and validation of methods for batch release
Work on monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), biosimilars, bispecifics, and antibody fragments
2. Biologics Characterization
Perform structural and functional characterization of biologics
Analyze attributes such as purity, identity, and higher-order structure
Support characterization using advanced analytical techniques
3. Analytical Techniques (Core Exposure)
Hands-on or working knowledge required in:
SEC-HPLC
RP-HPLC
CEX chromatography
Capillary electrophoresis (Maurice system)
NP-HPLC (glycan analysis)
DLS (Dynamic Light Scattering)
DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry)
CD spectroscopy
SEC-MALS
Spectrophotometric methods
4. Data Analysis & Software Tools
Use statistical and analytical tools such as:
GraphPad Prism
JAMP or similar software
Support interpretation of analytical and biophysical data
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with formulation, process development, and analytical teams
Support communication across functions for biologics development projects
6. Documentation & Compliance
Ensure proper documentation of experiments and results
Follow internal quality standards and scientific protocols
Support regulatory-ready data generation
Required Experience
1–2 years of experience in biologics / biosimilars analytical development
Experience in physicochemical method development & validation (preferred)
Required Educational Qualification
M.Sc. in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Life Sciences
