Role Overview
GSW, a leading healthcare communications agency within Syneos Health, is seeking an Experience Designer to deliver visually compelling, user-centered design solutions across digital and print platforms. This role is ideal for a creative professional who combines strong design craft with technical fluency to build impactful brand experiences in health and wellness.
As an Experience Designer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate complex healthcare concepts into elegant, intuitive designs across web, mobile, AR/VR, and emerging platforms—while maintaining high standards of precision, consistency, and creative excellence.
This position supports the GSW Santa Monica team and requires availability during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Design engaging digital and print experiences for healthcare and life sciences campaigns
Develop creative concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and animations that bring ideas to life
Collaborate with UX designers, developers, copywriters, and creative leads to ensure seamless execution
Create scalable and intuitive design systems across multiple platforms and channels
Apply strong attention to craft, typography, layout, and visual consistency
Present creative work clearly, articulating the strategic intent and design rationale
Ensure all design outputs align with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline preferred
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in digital and print design within an advertising or creative agency environment
Experience working with pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries is highly preferred
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD
Experience with animation and prototyping tools such as Principle or Lottie
Portfolio:
Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional digital design, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving across platforms
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with 3D design, three.js, or Unity
Familiarity with designing for emerging technologies, including AR/VR
Understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and scalable design systems
