Looking to dominate the HEVA (Health Economics & Value Assessment) space? This role is not basic medical writing—this is where science meets strategy, market access, and global impact.
As an Expert Scientific Writer – HEVA, you’ll lead the development of high-impact health economics evidence, value dossiers, and scientific publications that directly influence payer decisions, reimbursement strategies, and patient access globally.
You will work at the intersection of medical affairs, RWE (Real-World Evidence), and market access, shaping how pharmaceutical innovations prove their value in real-world healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities
HEVA Scientific Communication & Publications
Develop HEVA deliverables: manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and publications
Align communication outputs with global HEVA strategy and value communication plans
Support development of Core Value Dossiers (CVD) and AMCP dossiers
Evidence-Based Value Communication
Integrate clinical + economic evidence to demonstrate product value
Synthesize data for payer decision-making and reimbursement strategies
Maintain updated Core Value Decks for key products
Content Development & Review
Create complex scientific content independently
Review and mentor junior and senior scientific writers
Ensure adherence to publication SOPs and compliance standards
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with HEVA, RWE, Medical Affairs, and Scientific Communication teams
Collaborate with global and regional teams to identify evidence gaps
Liaise with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders
Process & Innovation
Manage end-to-end content lifecycle using tools like iEnvision / Datavision / Matrix
Identify opportunities to improve HEVA communication strategies
Enhance impact of evidence for market access and reimbursement decisions
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
Advanced degree (PhD / Master’s / MD) in Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Public Health
7+ years of experience in medical writing, HEVA, or scientific communications
Core Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)
Experience with Core Value Dossier (CVD), AMCP Dossier
Understanding of Real-World Evidence (RWE) and epidemiology
Expertise in Good Publication Practice (GPP)
Strong literature review, data synthesis, and scientific storytelling
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
Familiarity with ICH Guidelines, GxP, and publication compliance standards
Knowledge of market access and payer evidence requirements

MS Office (PowerPoint-heavy role)
