Job Summary

  • Role: Global Head, Field Medical Excellence (FME)
  • Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid work model)
  • Time Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership

    • Define and execute the long-term vision and strategy for global field medical activities.
    • Align initiatives to drive education and improve outcomes for patients and healthcare professionals.
  2. Collaboration

    • Partner with senior internal stakeholders (e.g., Medical Leadership, Field Medical Teams) and external healthcare providers to ensure strategies meet needs.
    • Act as a strategic partner across global teams.
  3. Operational Excellence

    • Lead and optimize field medical activities with measurable impact.
    • Oversee high-impact initiatives like CRM and productivity tools.
    • Manage the FME budget effectively.
  4. Team Development

    • Cultivate a high-performing, innovative, and accountable team culture.
    • Establish metrics to track and demonstrate the value of FME globally.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate degree in medical or scientific disciplines (MD, PhD, PharmD preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on medical affairs or field leadership.
    • Proven ability to define and execute strategic directions in a global, matrixed environment.
    • Leadership in cross-functional and multicultural settings.
  • Skills:
    • Strong visionary and communication skills.
    • Expertise in project management and change management.
    • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Travel: Up to 20%, including international travel.
