Job Overview

Novo Nordisk is hiring a Global Publications Lead to drive global publication strategy, scientific communications planning, publication governance, congress content development, and stakeholder engagement for its Rare Disease portfolio.

This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in medical publications, publication planning, scientific communications, medical writing oversight, publication compliance, and global stakeholder management.

The position owns the end-to-end publication lifecycle, ensuring high-quality scientific dissemination aligned with medical strategy and publication ethics.


Key Responsibilities

Global Publication Strategy Leadership

Lead strategic publication planning for rare disease therapies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Global publication strategy development

Objective:
Ensure impactful scientific communication to the right audience at the right time.


Publication Planning Group (PPG) Leadership

Chair and lead cross-functional Publication Planning Groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct PPG meetings
  • Drive stakeholder alignment
  • Support publication prioritization
  • Manage authorship discussions
  • Ensure timeline adherence
  • Facilitate scientific decision-making

Collaborate with:

  • Medical teams

End-to-End Publication Management

Own complete publication lifecycle management.
