Job Title: IDS/Research Staff Pharmacist – Parkside

Salary Range: $85.87 – $100.58 per hour

Job Summary:
Join UCLA Health as an IDS/Research Staff Pharmacist and contribute to leading-edge clinical research. This role focuses on investigational drug services (IDS) supporting oncology and other therapeutic area trials. You’ll oversee drug dispensation, protocol compliance, staff supervision, and maintain regulatory standards within a dynamic healthcare environment committed to innovation and patient-centric care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct protocol-related duties: study setup, drug dispensation, monitoring, and close-out
Dispense IV and oral investigational medications accurately
Support compliance with institutional, state, and federal research regulations
Supervise pharmacy support staff and ensure seamless operations
Build collaborative relationships with pharmacy, medical, and administrative teams
Handle problem-solving and adapt to evolving clinical research needs
Champion high standards of care and operational excellence in research pharmacy practice
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid Pharmacist license in California
Experience in investigational drug services or clinical research settings
Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research protocols
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage sterile and oral drug preparations
Capable of multitasking and working across multiple UCLA Health sites
Prior experience with IV/PO medication dispensing and study documentation is preferred
