Job Title: Associate Director – Record to Report (R2R) / Financial Reporting

Experience Required: 12+ years of experience in Financial Reporting, Accounting Operations, Compliance, Audit Management, and R2R processes, preferably within Pharma, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or Listed Companies.

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory. Experience with SAP S/4 HANA preferred.

Salary Package: ₹35–55 LPA (Estimated as per current market standards for Associate Director – Financial Reporting roles in Bengaluru; final compensation depends on CA experience, leadership exposure, industry background, and interview performance.)


Role Purpose

Responsible for leading the Financial Reporting and Record-to-Report (R2R) function, ensuring statutory compliance, financial controls, accurate reporting, audit readiness, and alignment of finance operations with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations

  • Lead month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

  • Support preparation of:

    • Quarterly financial reports

    • Annual reports

    • Earnings releases

    • Management reporting

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

  • Provide IFRS/Ind AS interpretations and prepare technical accounting documentation.

  • Communicate accounting updates and implications to senior management.

  • Coordinate with external auditors for financial reviews and statutory audits.

  • Manage global accounting activities and resolve accounting issues.

  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and reporting procedures.

  • Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize financial close timelines.


Compliance & Audit Management

  • Establish finance processes and systems aligned with statutory and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with:

    • Accounting standards

    • GST regulations

    • Income Tax & TDS requirements

    • RBI guidelines

    • SEBI regulations

    • Internal financial controls

  • Manage internal audits, IFCR audits, and assurance reviews.

  • Address audit observations and ensure timely closure.

  • Identify and mitigate financial compliance risks.

  • Update policies based on changing regulatory requirements.


Balance Sheet & Financial Controls

  • Review:

    • Accounts receivable

    • Payables

    • Accruals

    • Provisions

    • Advances

    • Write-offs/write-backs

  • Perform monthly balance sheet reviews.

  • Manage related-party reconciliations and SEBI compliance requirements.

  • Ensure strong financial governance and internal controls.


Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead and develop finance reporting teams.

  • Monitor individual and team performance.

  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and career development support.

  • Ensure achievement of annual business and finance objectives.
