Sanofi Business Operations (SBO), based in India, serves as a strategic internal hub supporting Global Medical, Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA), Commercial, R&D, Data & Digital, Vaccines, Specialty Care, and General Medicines functions.


Job Summary

The Jr. Associate – Evidence Synthesis will support global and local evidence generation initiatives by assisting in systematic literature reviews, data extraction, and health economics research activities. This role is ideal for early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in HEOR, medical evidence generation, and value-based healthcare decision support.


Key Responsibilities

Evidence Synthesis & Research Support

  • Support execution of evidence synthesis projects, including literature searches, screening, full-text review, and data extraction

  • Assist in developing and executing evidence generation plans across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases

  • Contribute to burden of illness studies, epidemiology analyses, literature reviews, meta-analyses, observational studies, economic evaluations, and patient-reported outcomes research

Performance & Delivery

  • Support HEVA and Medical teams in executing approved research studies and managing ongoing evidence generation activities

  • Assist in preparing high-quality scientific deliverables aligned with global and local market needs

Process & Quality

  • Support development of HEVA/Medical strategic evidence materials and standardized templates

  • Ensure adherence to evidence generation guidelines, scientific standards, and compliance requirements

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of evidence generation processes across therapeutic areas

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HEVA, Medical Affairs, RWE, Clinical, Market Access, Marketing, and External Affairs

  • Assist in preparing customized evidence deliverables for internal and external stakeholders


Required Qualifications

Education

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Health Economics, or related discipline

  • Medical degree preferred but not mandatory

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), evidence synthesis, or real-world evidence

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry, CRO, consulting firm, or academic research setting preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical and economic data

  • Familiarity with literature reviews, meta-analyses, and evidence generation methodologies

  • Ability to translate scientific data into value-focused evidence strategies

Soft Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities

  • Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional global teams
