Job Title: Junior MICC Associate

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Junior MICC Associate to join our growing team within the Medical Information Contact Centre (MICC). This role focuses on managing pharmacovigilance-related activities, including case intake, data entry, and inquiry follow-up. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to global and local regulations, maintain data integrity, and support various MICC functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management:

    • Receive and process Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), including data entry and case registration.
    • Review adverse event (AE) case information to determine required actions, following internal policies.
    • Code medical history, events, drugs, procedures, and laboratory tests according to relevant dictionaries (e.g., MedDRA, WHO-DD).
  • Communication and Support:

    • Handle calls and emails (AE, PQC, MI, GI) and provide support in multiple languages, including translations when required.
    • Ensure proper escalation of inquiries to supervisors when necessary.
    • Provide assistance with MICC-related activities as needed, supporting audits and closing CAPAs on time.
  • Quality Assurance and Training:

    • Ensure timely completion of internal and external training assignments.
    • Review and evaluate case feedback, making necessary changes and ensuring quality.
    • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for assigned projects, mentoring and training team members.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 1-3 years of experience in an MICC role, preferably in pharmacovigilance.
  • Education:
    • Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
    • Ability to manage case data entry and ensure accuracy in compliance with internal procedures.
