Labelling Process Coordinator – Mumbai, India
Job Summary:
Abbott is hiring a Labelling Process Coordinator to oversee and manage the label change request (LCR) process across regulatory, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality functions. This role is key to ensuring timely product launches, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective packaging updates in the pharmaceutical and healthcare domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate labelling activities for new product introductions with cross-functional teams.
Manage and execute Label Change Requests (LCRs) by aligning quality, regulatory, and technical implementation dates.
Ensure LCR execution does not negatively impact affiliates sharing products or packaging.
Proactively identify and resolve process bottlenecks with stakeholders.
Conduct regular KPI reviews and drive continuous improvement in the labelling process.
Maintain documentation such as SOPs and work instructions related to labelling.
Ensure compliance with GMP/GxP and Abbott quality standards.
Deliver training for labelling team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in life sciences or business-related disciplines).
Minimum 3 years of experience in life sciences operations, regulatory affairs, or quality.
Proficient in Artwork Management Systems, ERP, and PPM tools.
Strong knowledge of GMP/GxP standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills.
Experience in working with international markets and complex organizations.
High attention to detail and stress resilience under multiple priorities.
