About the Role

Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) is seeking an experienced Manager – Clinical and Safety Analytics to lead analytics and reporting initiatives within the Worldwide Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance Center of Excellence (PV CoE). This role drives actionable insights from clinical and safety data, enabling informed decision-making across BMS REMS and Clinical Analytics programs.

The successful candidate will combine expertise in regulatory compliance, real-world data analysis, and visualization tools to enhance drug safety, operational efficiency, and reporting quality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain analytics frameworks to support compliance with REMS and other safety regulations.

  • Aggregate, analyze, and visualize data from internal and external sources to identify trends, measure productivity, and improve efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated analytics processes using tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Excel, SQL, SAS, and Python.

  • Prepare and present reports to leadership and cross-functional teams, highlighting trends, findings, and actionable recommendations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Regulatory, Clinical Safety, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Brand Marketing) to ensure data-driven decision-making.

  • Support audit activities and ensure adherence to data quality and validation standards.

  • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and the healthcare landscape to optimize REMS program analytics.

  • Lead initiatives to improve reporting workflows, reduce manual data handling, and enhance analytical efficiency.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: BS/BA degree required; Master’s or advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience: 5–8 years in clinical analytics, pharmacovigilance, REMS reporting, or safety data analytics within Pharma/Biotech.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Tableau, Spotfire, PowerPoint, and Excel.

    • Programming experience with SAS, SQL, or Python.

    • Familiarity with databases such as Salesforce, Postgres, Oracle, and SharePoint.

    • Experience with real-world data analytics, clinical datasets, and reporting compliance.

  • Professional Skills:

    • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities in English.

    • Ability to organize complex datasets and translate insights into actionable business priorities.

    • Project management experience with multiple concurrent initiatives.

    • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across global and cross-functional teams.

    • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professional ethics.
