Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Clinical Operations – CRA Line Manager to lead and supervise Clinical Operations staff in a full-service, remote capacity. This role is accountable for operational oversight, staff development, and ensuring high-quality execution of clinical trials in compliance with GCP/ICH and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct line management for Clinical Operations staff, including recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals, professional development, and employee counseling.

  • Oversee project assignments, monitor workloads, and ensure appropriate resource allocation for study deliverables.

  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, protocols, regulatory guidelines, and ICH GCP compliance.

  • Conduct performance assessments, identify training needs, and implement corrective action plans.

  • Organize and facilitate clinical staff meetings, project reviews, and departmental updates.

  • Support site selection, site contract management, regulatory and ethics submissions, and site activation.

  • Oversee On-Site and Central Monitoring activities through study closeout.

  • Monitor key performance metrics, identify risks, and implement operational solutions.

  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and support business development initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or equivalent; advanced degrees a plus.

  • Extensive experience in clinical research within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment, including leadership experience.

  • Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and change management skills.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and technical skills, with proficiency in modern technologies.

  • Understanding of project budgets, forecasting, and financial management.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

  • Willingness to travel as required (up to 25%).
