Role Overview
The Manager – Incentive Compensation Contest Reporting will lead contest reporting operations across Inflammation, Bone, and Cardiovascular business units. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant reporting, oversees the work of analysts and vendor partners, and provides strategic guidance to optimize contest measurement, field engagement, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Contest Reporting & Analytics:

  • Lead end-to-end contest reporting operations across multiple business units, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

  • Develop reporting frameworks, dashboards, and data structures to support contest rules, eligibility, and payout calculations.

  • Guide the contest reporting team in building analytical insights to measure field performance and progress toward contest objectives.

  • Translate reporting insights into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Incentive Compensation Design, Data Management, Field Reporting, and IC platform teams to align requirements and validate outputs.

  • Support contest design discussions with feasibility analysis, reporting considerations, and data availability insights.

  • Manage escalations and resolve data discrepancies while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Supervise and mentor contest reporting analysts, fostering capability development and operational excellence.

  • Implement standardized processes, documentation, contest budget trackers, and SLAs to ensure consistency.

  • Identify automation opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and scalability.

Compliance & Process Excellence:

  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and IC program guidelines.

  • Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and high standards of accuracy in all reporting and payout activities.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets.

  • Expertise in translating business rules into data logic, calculations, and reporting.

  • High attention to detail, accountability, and commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills for communication with stakeholders, including senior management.

  • Ability to identify process improvements, implement systems innovations, and partner with IS/IT teams.

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and vendor partners.

Education & Experience:

  • 9–12 years of experience in Incentive Compensation, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Experience in contest reporting, analytics, or field operations is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with IC platforms, data management, and cross-functional collaboration.
