Position Summary:
The Manager, PMO & Informatics will oversee key business processes and related systems supporting the Global Research & Development (GR&D) portfolio. This role is instrumental in data management, technical solutions, reporting activities, and driving strategic objectives through performance metric delivery and oversight.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of systems, processes, and controls to optimize GR&D efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with GIS and third-party technical vendors to implement solutions for system, report, and data processing challenges.

  • Drive the execution of GR&D strategic and fiscal plans, including resource and capacity planning with cross-functional input.

  • Develop and continuously improve reporting tools for leadership to track submissions, approvals, launches, and pipeline health.

  • Ensure data alignment across functions for a consolidated view of the global portfolio.

  • Support project execution by identifying risks, resolving issues, and managing timelines, capacity, and costs.

  • Facilitate communities of practice to foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in GR&D.

  • Influence cross-functional decision-making through strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proactively identify issues and implement corrective and preventative actions.

  • Foster open communication and trust-based relationships across teams and leadership.

  • Promote a culture of employee development, safety, and adherence to compliance and corporate policies.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Education Requirements:

  • University degree in Business or Science.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

  • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical business operations and related technologies.

  • Expertise in Project Management methodologies in complex environments.

  • Strong collaboration and conflict management skills within matrix organizations.

  • Proven success in goal execution and problem-solving under pressure.

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing both direct and indirect reports.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project or similar PM tools.

  • Skilled in data/reporting tools including Power BI, SQL, Python.

  • Ability to independently design tracking and reporting tools based on business needs.

  • Knowledge of document management, quality systems, PPM, and collaborative software is a plus.


Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • 8+ years in leading enterprise-level strategic projects.

  • 8+ years in reporting solutions and data management.

  • 8+ years in managing technical applications and user support.

  • Proven track record of coordinating complex staff activities and developing leadership capabilities in teams.
