Position Overview

EVERSANA is seeking a Manager, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) to lead multi-disciplinary research teams and provide strategic HEOR expertise across client projects. This role supports projects from planning through communication and ensures high-quality, scientifically robust outcomes in health economics, pharmacoeconomics, and health technology assessment (HTA).

The Manager, HEOR will work closely with clients, internal research teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that drive reimbursement strategies, market access, and evidence-based decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Lead multi-disciplinary HEOR research teams across multiple projects

  • Execute projects on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations

  • Define project scope, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress across competing projects

  • Develop and review project deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and quality

  • Manage changes in project scope, risks, and contingency planning

  • Supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to junior staff and contractors

Methodology & Analysis

  • Ensure projects follow robust HEOR principles and defendable methodologies

  • Apply pharmacoeconomic and HTA best practices for high-quality analyses

  • Support development of cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models, and related analytical tools

Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for ongoing business

  • Contribute to proposals, budgets, and project planning

  • Communicate HEOR findings clearly to clients and stakeholders

Company Leadership

  • Contribute to company growth, staffing decisions, and best practices for project execution

Travel & Work Schedule

  • Occasional travel may be required for client meetings or off-site engagements

  • Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week; flexibility may be required for deadlines


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • MSc in Life Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or a related field

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years in HEOR, health technology assessment, or related field

  • Expertise in cost-effectiveness model design, analysis, and interpretation

  • Experience with HTA submissions and reimbursement-related projects

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EndNote; familiarity with R or DistillerSR is a plus

  • Strong project and time management skills across multiple priorities

  • Leadership experience with the ability to supervise and motivate teams

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and strategic skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in model programming using VBA
