Position Summary
The Manager – Quality & Testing will lead and manage the test automation team, overseeing the development and implementation of testing strategies and frameworks. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust test coverage, improve testing processes, and deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the test automation team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Design and implement automation strategies using tools such as Selenium, Tosca, and API testing tools.
Collaborate with development, product management, and QA teams for comprehensive test coverage.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing using Java and Python.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights and reports to stakeholders.
Continuously optimize test processes, tools, and methodologies.
Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends in software testing and automation.
Manage testing resources, schedules, and budgets efficiently.
Facilitate internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives for testing teams.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in software/system quality and testing.
Minimum 2+ years in a managerial role, preferably in Computer System Validation (CSV) or software testing.
