Job Description
Eli Lilly has a diverse portfolio of established and near-launch brands in the United States. Our brand and marketing teams depend on robust market research to gauge brand performance, identify new opportunities, craft marketing strategies, and make informed tactical adjustments.
This role is essential for executing global market research projects and ensuring a streamlined, timely market research process across our global products. Responsibilities include finalizing questionnaires, developing recruitment lists, aggregating and interpreting data, cross-referencing secondary sources, and reporting findings. Collaboration with market researchers in various countries and external agencies managing data collection is vital.
Key Responsibilities
Research Execution: Manage global market research projects from initiation to reporting, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Data Analysis: Aggregate and analyze data, interpreting results to provide actionable insights.
Collaboration: Work closely with global market researchers and external agencies to ensure effective data collection and reporting.
Report Creation: Develop comprehensive reports for business partners that include conclusions and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
Graduation/Post Graduation/MBA in a quantitative discipline (e.g., data collection, data analysis, business consulting, public health).
Experience Requirements
2-5 years of market research and analytics experience with demonstrated strategic thinking in ambiguous environments.
Technical Skills
Strong quantitative, research, and data analytical skills.
Proficiency in statistical packages (SPSS, Q, or similar) and databases.
Experience with coding or queries (Python, Java, or similar) is a plus.
Familiarity with statistical methods such as conjoint analysis, regression, and cluster analysis is preferred.
Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) are advantageous.
Soft Skills
Strong learning agility and attention to detail.
Ability to solve problems through analytical reasoning.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong presentation skills are a plus.
Dynamic, results-oriented team player who collaborates effectively.
Strategic thinking in ambiguous environments.
Ability to ask clarifying questions to ensure alignment with stakeholders.
Experience translating business questions into effective research and analysis plans is a plus.
